How can I turn pnuematic muscles into hydraulic muscles? Answered

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this
Recently I've become interested in these pnuematic muscles: https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-air-muscles!/
I wondered if it would be possible, and what sort of pump I'd have to use. I wanted to make the pump fill the muscles as fast as they can, and I wanted it to be fairly portable (running off 12 volts or something).
Thanks for your answers!

You'll struggle to move enough liquid through the pipes to make them hydraulic.

Do you think I could have a valve in between the muscle and the tubing,
with a pump turning on when the valve has been opened? I'm thinking
that this would successfully generate the speed I need to make them
contract, and be pretty easy to operate. I could also have the tubing
pretty small, as the whole thing would be full behind the valve.

You want to use a pressure cylinder for this.

Fill a pressure cylinder with highly compressed gas, like for scuba diving, and add a regulator to adjust the desired pressure.
