How can i improve my web dev skills is there any place i can practice? Answered

i am good in web application development i know server side scripting language and dbms scripting.
but i am not in practice from a while is there any site who serve as non-profit site so that i can help them with my skills

or where can i get people who want their own personalised website and dont want to hire a programmer who take too much money.

w3schools has some nice stuff, IIRC they also have review quizzes.

Its not non-profit but http://fiverr.com/ does this and hey it's $5 per request. If you want to redesign some css for the heck of it and I'll be glad to credit you and place a page up on mickred.com with your info.

Try mentioning this in the forums, which are seen by more people.

It would also be a good idea to include links to sites you have already worked on, so that folk can get an idea of your capabilities.
