How can you adjust timezones?
OK, everytime I see a comment, the time is very diffrent from mine.
I just posted a comment. My time ( checked ALL of my watches) was 7:03, yet on instructables, it said 3:03
I was wondering if I could do anything so that my times match? Perhaps on Instructables or Firefox???

The time on the screen is the time at The Tower, in some out-of-the-way place called Cali-something-or-other

Is that someplace in the colonies? (please don't hurt me, some of the nicest people I know are foreigners) LOL

... some of the nicest people ...
Have you noticed how people say "no offense, but..." and then follow it with something really offensive?

No offense, but I think you are the most annoying person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting, and I can't believe that you and all your other jolly-good friends are allowed to live on the same planet and go to the same site as I do.
Like that?
No offense ;-P

Its about as redundant as saying "I'm not going to say you I told you so, but..."

Very funny :( (former colonies)

I'm actually at a hotel in London tonight for a trade show in the morning and i think England is being reverse colonised! I've heard more american accents this evening than most nights tv watching gives me.

I put a suggestion in for localised timestamps a while ago, it's with the dev team apparently.
Aren't timestamps fun?

I wonder if a Grease Monkey script would be usable here ?

Since the time is California and is GMT -8 it shouldn't be hard

I'm not familiar with Grease Monkey. I know what it is, but I guess its never interested me.

GMT is Greenwich Mean Time. What most countries base their time zones on. It makes it easy to locate what zone someone is in ( I am GMT -5, so I am on the east coast of the USA, but that extends up into Canada also)

Um, he said Greasemonkey, not Greenwich Mean Time.
Keith-Kid, Greasemonkey is an add-on for Firefox that allows you to run Javascript commands to modify the webpage. It's been used before to hide K'Nex-related iBles and forum topics, and to show all steps, before it became an option on Instructables itself.

Thank You

I know, I brought up the Greasemonkey thing, but since he was not familiar with it, I assumed he did not have it. There is a Greasemonkey add on for FireFox, one for Mozilla Flock, and one for MSIE also.

. If you're running Windows, you can go to the Date & Time control panel and adjust your time zone to match Ible's server (PST/PDT). But then you'll have to add four hours to get your local time. . Probably be easiest just to remember Ibles is four hours behind you. ;)
