In addition to Re-design post: You can try Actual Multiple Monitors software for your multi-monitors. You'll get additional fully functional taskbars for each monitor and many other useful features.

Either install a vid. card that has two outputs of install another vid. card. They don't have to be the same model. But it's probably better if they are the same brand but they don't have to be. In windows setup there will be a way to set up the two monitors. Or it may be in the vid card setup, it could be either place.   There you can choose which is the main mon. and resolution etc.

I run one computer that has three monitors. One is just for my email that I leave running all day and my extra menus for autocad. My main monitor is for the autocad drawing screen. And the third one (most important one) is for the netflix movies I watch all day at work.

Thanks for the info. Since I posted I have installed the dual monitors. Replaced the Video card with one with two ports. I set the primary up for Alibre CAD/CAM and the secondary for all other things. Thanks for the info.
