How do I get rid of instructables that I am working on? Answered

Go to your "You" page. Click on the "Instructables" tab and click on "unpublished." Click "edit" on the ible you want to get rid of. Once you see the editing screen, hover your mouse over the "more" drop down menu and click "delete."

Are you sure it was published? If so, did you then refresh your profile page? Before deleting anything, you want to make sure that the instructable you were working on is published and shows up in the published instructables list. If you've confirmed this, and for whatever reason you have a duplicate that shows up in the "unpublished" list, you can easily delete it by opening it in "edit" mode. Then look for the tabs that say "edit", "publish" and "share". To the right you'll see a "More" option with an arrow next to it. If you click on the "More" option, you'll see the word "delete". If you click on that you'll get a confirmation screen that asks if you are sure you want to delete it. If you are sure, then click on the button that says "Yes, delete this instructable" (If you're not sure then click on the button that says "Nope. Don't delete it").
