on the configuration page it shows what computers are connected If you can, password protect your wifi and dont broadcast the SSID name. If they cant see it they cant hack it.

Thing is, you can get a program that allows you to see the connection even if the SSID is not being broadcasted easily on the internet.

Aside from setting up WPA to require a password (which everyone with WIFI should use), almost all routers can be easily configured to keep a log of authenticated MAC addresses, times, and IP addresses accessed.  I would recommend also setting up MAC filtering to only accept your computer(s); it's yet another way to prevent interlopers.

Those who hijack WIFI connections range from the relatively benign (bridging connections for extra bandwidth) to those looking for an IP address to carry out malicious activity (hacking, virus propagation, identity theft, illegal downloading, &c).  Do everything you can to thwart this as if they do something stupid, you're the one who gets busted.

Use WPA, WPA2 encryption, you need 1 million years to crack the password make sure you use a custom password, because most wificracking passwords have key lists built in. as to who is n your wifi right now, look for a blinking light on your router when all the computers in your house are off, that usually tells that someone is using your WiFi
