How do I know when and if my question has been answered? Answered

New to posting questions. Love the site, but have no clue how to find out if my question was answered.  Did I just miss this info when posting my question. Will I be sent an email, or will my question be at the top of the list in "Answers"? I just don't know. If this info isn't given when posting a question, then it sure needs to be. I hate not knowing! Thanks!

I am a big fan of the https://www.instructables.com/you/?show=COMMENTS page.

Everything anyone writes on anything that you 'own' - questions, ibles, comment replies, orangeboard - will show up in that list.

I just routinely look at that list.

You can set it up to get an email when your question posted to it will also include any posting you made on someone else's question if someone posts after you. You can check your questions and postings by clicking the "YOU" at the top right of the screen. That will take you to a page with stuff about you. Toward the bottome of the page under "Discussions" it will list any question that you have posted to including your question.
