How do I level out the garden?
Hello, could someone please tell me how I would go about levelling out my garden or particular blocks of it? Thank you in advance.

Hello, thank you very much for your response. The garden isn't big enough for a tractor, can I please ask what a tiller is? Seriously, Google isn't working for me. Most other pages load, but not Google.

Hey,
Sure, a tiller is a little gas powered thing that chews up the dirt and makes it finer. It's like automated hoeing (picture: http://www.vintageprojects.com/home-garden/RotoTiller0003.jpg). I'd use a tiller to grind the soil fine, (should be adjustable height so you can go higher or lower depending on how uneven it is)and then maybe take a hand rake to even it out. A tractor an adjustable attachment would probably be better but this will work also.

Any photos of the garden? Do you need consideration of new drainage or retaining walls? Is this an overgrown patch that needs clearing or do you just need to amend the soil to get it nice and level? Suggestions would range from napalm or to just use the back of a metal garden rake to level. If you are really picky, you can do the string or laser level thing. Good luck.
