Is there something about certain instructables that offends you in some way, or do you only want to see things that interest you?
If there is something genuinely offensive in an instructable, then you should flag it. If you simply want to limit your results, choose a category that doesn't include things that aren't interesting to you. For example, if knitting doesn't float your boat, maybe you should select the "ride" category to see instructables about cars, bicycles, skateboards, etc.
I just don't want to see groups like "anything kinky" or pictures/videos of girls in bikinis and stuff... I just don't want to be able to open those things up... does that make sense?
From the question I'm not completely sure what you're talking about.
If you're talking about the Instructables under "New from members you've subscribed to:" you need to unsubscribe from the individual people to remove them.
I don't think there's any mark in the system for "not safe for work", which seems to be what you're looking for. Part of that is simply because there's very little on Instructables that is questionable, and those few are generally pretty well flagged.
If in doubt, don't access Instructables from work.
Can't do it in the profile, as far as I know. But there is a Greasemonkey script for the Firefox browser which will hide some of the Knex-related postings, and it can be adapted for other keywords. (Warning: It will reject postings/threads if it finds those keywords in the user name too.)

That makes sense (especially if you are using the site at work), but those sorts of images are very rare here.

And almost always get flagged and taken down in short order.

Go to this page: https://www.instructables.com/you/subscriptions and along the left side there is a list of people you subscribe to. Click the [X] next to the ones you want to remove.

No... some instructables have images/videos I don't want shown on my computer, and I was wondering if there was a way to hide those pages at all.

Not unless the content is reported and removed.

I only see one Instructable on your profile.
Other people do not see your profile the way you do.
