How (not) to improve eyesight Answered

We seem to be getting a rash of Instructables claiming to be able to improve eyesight through simple exercises.

Please, people, can these stop? The methods were quackery in 1920, and have been thoroughly refuted numerous times since (for example in 1956 and 2004 ), yet, like holistics, pyramid power, magnetic bracelets and a host of other quackeries, they still do the rounds and fool people into falling for them.

Please, people, do a little research before posting supposedly medical treatments.

i agree, but, i see no harm with holistics, they provide a very power 'placebo' method of helping people. pryamid power, lol, i loved it when that guy posted an ible on it, he was shot down in seconds.

The placebo effect is the harm - it delays people seeking proper medical help for (potentially) life-threatening conditions.

of course, i was meaning more interms of problems that are non physical, for example depression, anxiety, and other mild problems.
