How to mount a portable suction machine tip to wheelchair to promote independance? Answered

I have a portable suction machine on the back of my wheelchair. I would like to attach the suction tip to the side of the wheelchair somehow so I can remove it to use it but replace it when not in use. I go independantly for walks and get very frustrated when I can not reach the suction tip because it sits in the bag on the back of my chair. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank You!

Do you have sufficient hand mobility to grasp the suction tube yourself, and to replace it when finished? If so, you could probably use a simple "tool clip" http://www.google.com/#q=tool+clip attached, for example, below one of the armrests on your chair.

If you have limited hand mobility, you may want to use something more like a cable tie http://www.onlinecomponents.com/panduit-acc38ac.html?p=12180416 to permanently anchor the suction tube onto your headrest, where you can reach the end with your mouth when needed.

I do have satisfactory hand mobility, so a tool clip is a great idea!
Thanks!

I could think of these goose necks as used to provide cooling water on the lath or in the tiny form as used on flexible tripods.
You ge various type on end pieces, camps and such for these systems.
