How to perfectly Caramalize onions without burning it? Answered

I recently tried Caramalizing onions using ghee and ended up burning it.what need to be done during this.what must be the ideal temperature for Caramalizing it?

You want a lot of fat and a medium low temperature for a longer time than you expect. It should be hot enough that the onion sizzles when first put in, but low enough the fat doesn't burn. As they become softer stir more frequently and add more fat as needed.
