How to remotely shutdown a computer on ANOTHER (EXTERNAL) network? Answered

just like the question states i am trying to remotely shutdown a computer on another network .

basically:

MY computer (192.168.0.2) ---------> my Router-------> Internet--------> other router (24.36.64.xxx)--------> other computer (192.168.5.7)

I would not like to use vpn or port forwarding.

Any Help is appreciated. ps both computers are running windows 7/10 (dual boot)

Use a software such as Teamviewer.

Of course you have an account on the remote system, since you either own it or are an authorized user. In that case, just use SSH from a terminal window to open a remote session under your account there, and run |sudo shutdown|. Since you're authorized to manage the remote machine, your user ID will be in the sudo list.
