How to share a printer in Ubuntu 10.10?
I have a printer hooked up to a computer running the latest Ubuntu version. This computer is wired to a Belkin Wireless router. If I connect a Windows Vista laptop directly to the Belkin router I could "see" it on the Ubuntu machine as part of the network but, I can not see the other computers on my home network that connect wirelessly. Any ideas? Thank you very much in advance!

Are you running SAMBA on your Ubuntu box ?

I've downloaded the Workstation version and I am unsure if I am running SAMBA.

Look in the processes running (PS -A at the command prompt), look for one called "SMBD" and "NMBD" - if they're running, you got SAMBA, and we can carry on.
See if you can install "CUPS" - the common unix print system, and SAMBA and I think we have enough to share the connection.
You can do a lot inside a web-browser to control your SAMBA system, if you run something called SWAT.

Thanks, but the information applies to printers connected to Windows machines.
