How / where do you store your kitchen cooling racks? Answered

I'm looking for ideas for storing multiple sizes of cooling and broiling racks.  Ideally, they would be within easy reach (like not in the garage) but not in the way. So I'm asking the community in hopes that someone has found a non-tangling, space conserving, convenient method.

Why not make a Hanger for them?

Screw a mounting plate to the wall with a Tilted pair of Arms to it Facing outwards. Kinda like the hooks for your BBQ tools !

Just make them a bit longer so you can fit a few Racks on them :P

Either that or if your into Cabinetry, Last time we replaced our dishwasher it was a bit thinner then the last one so we built a pair of small Baking sheet holders in the leftover space. The Cabinet was deep enough that we could fit one slot on the bottom and another on top in a space only a few inches wide :D You may be able to do this in a Cupboard too !

Thanks, Wired_Mist! I don't have BBQ tools, but a quick search for holding them brought up a number of possibilities. I can try it out with some nails in a board.

In my old house I had quite high ceilings.
For some pots, pans and those pesky racks that you only need once in a while I used a pulley system.
Just some string with added hooks and a hooked screw in the ceiling.
Hang the stuff you don't need to the hooks and pull them up under the ceiling.
Of course really of no use with normal or low ceilings.

Thanks for your input, Downunder35m! That's an idea I never would have thought of. The ceiling here is a little lower than standard, but I'm short. I'll keep your pulley design in mind.
