How would I go about making a basketball that deflates via remote control?
For a project, I'd like to make basketball that deflates when someone pushes a button on a remote.
This is really just a proof of concept for a video, so if the mechanism impedes the ability to play, that's okay for now.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to tackle this unusual challenge?

A BB gun...
In all seriousness though, does the ball need to be dribbled before/after the deflating?

Remote, receiver, magnet valve...

Probelm is getting it into the ball and sealing it back up to be unoticed and able to hold air again.

True but that comes down to the same as fixing a bike tyre.
Vulcanising and sealing.
A soccer ball would not be too hard, same for a football, but a basketball is made entirely out of a single piece of rubber.
Just glad it is not my design challenge ;)
