Human readable URLs, Offbeat, and a few other things Answered

We did an update to Instructables last night and added a few cool improvements. The title of your Instructable is now used as the URL for that Instructable. For example, https://www.instructables.com/id/E7HOISVF5R8QR1I/ is now https://www.instructables.com/id/Barbie-Doll-Electric-Chair-Science-Fair-Project!/ So, when you send someone a link to an Instructable, they'll know what they're getting into.

We also introduced our Offbeat category, which is for all Instructables off the beaten track. It's for learning to live on 2 hours of sleep a day, replica Tommy Guns made of K'Nex, and How to Lock Someone to a Tree. When your mom sees your project, if she gives you a look meaning "Now, what did you do that for?", Offbeat is the place for you.

Finally, there were a bunch of little bug fixes, small improvements, and the groundwork for even more cool stuff yet to come. Let us know what you think!

The new difficulty / cost sliders are great! You should add some active content to the cost slider though, to show exactly what range it's in. Anyways cool new ideas!

Go to your Instructables list and click Edit. They are under the Overview box on the Intro page.

It would work for difficulty too! As you slide the bar, the description of difficulty will change.
