I Found A Cure To Hiccups
I just had the hiccups ten minutes ago and used this cure, it works for once!(unlike most cures ;-) ) Take a deep breath into your lower lungs and hold it there, not in your mouth. Then, still holding your breath, clench all your stomach muscles and hold for a few seconds. Finlly, let out your breath, and your hiccups are gone! Do you have good cures?

step 1)punch and hurt yourself until bruised (approx 1 hour) step 2)dump oil on you, get a match, throw it on you (approx 10 min) step 3)find a place to make the fire stop, like a tub of oil (approx 3 years) step 4)drive down to your local beach/lake/river (max would be 3 days...) step 5)jump in the river. then your hiccups are gone! if you dont get it... its a joke.

I'm suing! I broke a rib hitting myself, I now smell like a smore, oil for some reason didn't put it out, it just made it worse, when I jumped in the water I got attacked by paranahs. Thanks to you I'm hurt, smell like a marshmellow, and fish like me. lol EVERYBODY GORILLAZMIKO GIVES BAD ADVICE and I don't want to hear about the whole "it was a joke" thing.

lol. hahahahaha funny part : oil for some reason didn't put it out, it just made it worse, and if you actually did it, it would have took you quite a while, not 42 minutes. :)

ive always taken tiny sips while holding my breath and counting backwards from 10. my 1st grade teacher told me to do it one day, and ive been doing it ever since.

. I read somewhere (don't remember where) that breathing into a paper bag will increase the CO2 level in your body which will help alleviate the spasms. I've tried it a few times and it works for me.

A trick which has always worked for me: Drinking a full glass of water in one go, while standing on one leg, with eyes closed. Sounds weird, but it's worked so far. I think it's the combination of drinking water, and distracting your body long enough to break the hiccup rhythm.

Anything that interrupts the hiccup reflex will cure it - drinking lots of tiny sips, very rapidly, from the normal side of a glass is (apparently) the best way to do this (sorry, I can't find the reference right now).
