I forgot that the world is supposed to be round...
...and I fell over the edge for a while there. :)
Either that, or the demands and distractions of the non-Instructables-existosphere dragged me in and kept hold of me for several months. I have Real Life somewhat under control (or rather, not nearly so out of control) at least for for the time being, and plan to be here regularly again.
My apologies to anyone I've neglected, ignored, or otherwise inconvenienced while I was off restoring the earth to its proper spheroidalness.

It's hip to be square.

So then, would it be exponentially hipper to be cubic? ;)

It might be hard to get to the root of it, but yeah...

Maybe you should check the logs?

As long as it is not too complex, but maybe the Greeks expressed it best.

Complex? I think that was the Poles.

Hmmm, going forward while thinking backward.

Like Napoleon, just go all the way around and avoid the poles :-)

With all this in mind (or out of your mind!), I do believe Gorfram should be making a pair of fluffy Salvador Dali-esque slippers...

If I used fuzzy logic to reason out the pattern and dimensions, and assumed that half of all the angular momentum woiuld fall below the mean, I might even get some differential slip-pers ;)

...you have a place to stand upon which you can move the 'ible world....
I, too, had a real-world dis-continuum where I had English Tea and Crumpets served by a wench not dissimilar to yourself, clad in steel-toe-caps, in the cafe at the end of the galaxy.
Good to have you back, I pop in and out, too, rather like "Cheers", ###where everybody knows your name!###

... just give me a lever long enough. :)
(Okay, has that double entendre been there all along, or is my brain just in a badly Freudian sort of place today? ;)
(Something definitely is wrong with my brain. The only comment I can think in re our Grand English Tea is a reference to Spotted Dick, and that's before I even get to "popping in and out."
Signing off before I run the "Family-Friendly" status of this site...)
