Is going to an ATC something you would like to do? If so then yes by all means. I wish they had had them when I was in school. I would have loved to go to one. Congratulations!
Presumably to be accepted for the program, you must have applied for it ! And you are an Instructable member, so there's some part of your mindset that's set for the idea. Don't back out now, you've nothing to lose and lots to gain !

thank you....i wanted to go at first when i applied but i was second guessing it but i thought about it and i think im going for 11-12th grade

If you like the idea and are interested in tehcnology, go for it.
One words of advise. choose to take some business classes along with the tech content.
