I have a 2 iPod batteries and i would like to know how would i be able to connect them to a usb cable to use with iTouch Answered

i woudl like to know how i can connect a usb cable to the plug type that the ipod has to plug the battery on the chipset and also be able to charge the batteries after. I have a ipod mini and ipod photo battery

Honestly, I wouldn't try. Hooking up batteries to any cable leading to a high-tech device would be very difficult, and the money saved by recycling wouldn't be worth the risk of destroying your $200-$300 iPod. In addition, your warranty would be void if you attempted this, and even if your iPod died later from unrelated causes, you would be legally responsible.
If you want to be green, sell the iPods, or drop them off at an "e-cycling" center. Some will even pay you for the batteries and other parts of the iPod, which are usually quite valuable. I know this probably wasn't what you were looking for, but to rewire an iPod battery is about as risky as opening it up and rewiring the processor. I hope this helps!
