I have a set of 6 small glass tubes. Is there a small plant or flower I can plant in them? Answered

The tubes are 4" in diameter, 6" in length and have screw on lids. The glass is 1/4" thick.

Herbs tend to like dry soils.  If these jars don't have drainage, the herbs will die of root rot.  I'd suggest miniature bog gardens in each one; perhaps carnivorous plants like venus fly trap.  That would be awesome!

Most herbs would be more than happy in that amount of space... basil, coriander, mint, parsley; they'd be good as they'd be useful as well as pretty. As would a lot of annual flowers... marigolds, sweet peas, petunias etc.

So, I totally meant to put the circumference is 4". Is this still suitable for the herbs and flowers you listed?

As Jayefuu said, many small herbs will be happy in a space that size.  Just make sure you protect the roots from sunlight with black paper or something.
