I have been working on this solar cell using the copper plate but it is not working
In that I hve made that copper smaller than the size of the cuprous oxide and other instruction as follows. Is that due to the specific amount of solutin it need or molarity .And by the way what is principle behind this .Plz I need that respond as soon as possible.?It is very urgent thet my teacher is gonna kick me out of class

You only get a voltage-reading out of these things, it's "a gnat's chuff" of power. Measure the PD with no-load.

Have a look at SciToys - there is an excellent project (click here) that should be a great help.

If you made it smaller that might be the problem. This method is very inefficient and may not be large enough to register.
Since this is for school, you should do your own research. You do know how to do the research don't you?
