I like jumping Answered

A few days ago my friend challenged me to leapfrog a parking meter, and i did and now im just jumping over everything in sight. It's actually pretty fun erm dangerous but being a little bit of a energy drink adrenaline junkie jumping wrestling and stuff like that is always fun, are there any other adrenaline junkies on instructables?

My youngest likes running around in small circles, walking on walls, and can't wait to be tall enough to use a climbing wall - does that count?

freerunning and parkour aren't the same thing. wikipedia states: The term free running was coined during the filming of Jump London, as a way to present parkour to the English-speaking world. However, the term free running has come to represent a separate, distinct concept to parkour — a distinction which is often missed due to the aesthetic similarities. Parkour as a discipline emphasizes efficiency, whilst free running embodies complete freedom of movement — and includes many acrobatic maneuvers. Although the two are often physically similar, the mindsets of each are vastly different. The founder and creator of Free running Sébastien Foucan defines free running as a discipline to self development, following your own way. which he developed because he felt that parkour lacked enough creativity and self-expression as a definition of each free-runner to follow your own way.

I've been doing parkour for a few weeks now, I just started playing on a playground, and jumping form place to place. I already have my dive roll down!

Ah to be young again *sigh* Last time I tried to vault over a low fence, my foot caught on the chain (about 3 feet off the ground) and I landed face down on the macadam. It was easy enough for my strong legs to lift 140 lbs 5+ feet in the air, but it had trouble with 230 lbs.
