I need a way for 8 different people to be able to call for service, somewhat like a stewardess call button. Answered

I run a small community acupuncture clinic, where I treat 8 people in a single room.  I am often out of the room for 10-20 minutes at a time, and would like to have anyone in there be able to press a button and have a chime/pager/light go off in the reception area so that I know it's time to go and get someone's needles out.

I am not much of a wiring/soldering type person, but if someone had a cheap and easy way for me to do this I would be eternally grateful.

Thank you in advance!

Buy a remote door bell with ringer and seven more door buttons at a hardware store like Lows.

The door bells can be set to the electronic ringer code and volume is adjustable.

NO SOLDERING involved.

You know, I called Home Depot thinking that this was going to be the solution. The guy I talked to said "No, we don't have products like that. You only get two buttons with each door bell."

Duh.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Apparently your Home Depot does not carry what is found in my depot :-)

I'm going to go there this afternoon and look around. I see that I can order them online, so they should also have them in-store.

Thanks again.

They often don't know what's really available in their stores. It's not always their fault, the've got lots of stuff in the store.

Do you need indication which patient has called or just a noise reminder?

Diagram will wire a normal wired door bell for many users.

Thanks for this! No, I don't *really* need to know who pushed the bell, only that someone did. All the chairs face the door more or less, so when I walk in it'll be obvious who needs attention.
