I sent a gift to Ukraine registered mail Answered

I mailed a gift to Ukraine on December 21 and it looks like it's at customs. How often is mail scanned at customs on Sunday and the day after christmas? Does this mean the padded envelope really left the United States? What does this mean? I took a few of the numbers out. I sent it registered mail (first class international registered mail) even though the CD didn't cost me much! I sent another CD regular International First Class in October 2010 and she didn't get it! Do you think customs took it because it was christian music or do you think it was stolen? Please look below!

FedEx or DHL operate in Ukraine. It depends on where you're living in the US but I've had great experiences with using Meest.
An added bonus is that there are Meest warehouses in Ukrainian
territory so they guarantee delivery. Their customer service is also

The problem with using USPS or UPS is that once it gets
to the Ukrainian border it is taken over by Ukrainian postal service -
meaning good luck trying to track it!

Sending things international is a hit and miss proposition, It's never clear what happens when things go missing. Solme lost some stolen...

If it really must get there then send it UPS.  Not perfect but they have a MUCH better record than the mail.

We send to Mexico to my Bro-in-law and always try to use UPS and it always seems to get there.
