If I embed a PDF into an Excel file, can the PDF be accessed and read by others? Answered

I have embedded a PDF into an Excel file.

If I e-mail this Excel spreadsheet to someone else, can they access the PDF file that I have embedded?

Yes they can have access to the file as long as if you link to it the pdf. is ether on the net or sent with the Excell sheet, the other option is embed the pdf. in the Excell file.

So the embedded PDF isn't a part of the Excel file, but rather a route to where it is stored on my computer?

Yes, although it can be embedded in the file too I think.
OLE - object link embedding is the subject you need to investigate
