If i enter a contest, how do they know where I live? will I need to post my location on my profile? I NEED ANSWERS FAST! Answered

I entered the april fools contest but I'm not sure how they would send me my prize (if I win one) do they track me through my ip address or will I need to post my address on my profile (which I don't want to do, because it's personal info that no one really needs to know it)

If you win, the Instructables Robot PM's you with a form you fill out online. This form includes a section where you put your street address.

A rough location, like country is actually very useful when you ask for advice, so that replies can be country specific. That's not personal information.

yes somthing like that isn't but putting my address and such is personal info, thats why I was asking this question
