I’m looking for any hints & tips on how I could solve the technology problem shown in the short video below. Answered

I’m preferably looking for a textile (flexible) material & not involving much electronics. However I’m open to any suggestions.

What's the challenge? The video only shows how a material reacts to temperature changes. It doesn't present any kind of challenge or goal to achieve. Really the text used to describe what is happening isn't correct at all. The White materiel isn't opening up due to contact with skin. The material is just a cloth that cover whatever the pink stuff is and the pink stuff expands as it warms and protrudes through the holes in the cloth. Besides the video only shows you clips so the pink stuff could be inflated between takes and there is no real reaction happening.

As far as I can see, the video is actually a simple animation of what he *wants* to happen.

If that's the case finding a materiel that opens up when in contact with skin will be very difficult. You'll probably have to have some electronics to make it happen.

It would help if we knew what kind of application this would be used for and what other design considerations are needed. Does it have to react only to skin contact and not 98 degree weather? Should the reaction cause the material to expand, contract, or just open up small holes? How thick can the material be? If the only way to get the result you want is with a good bit of electronics what kind of weight and size limitation should be considered? There are a million such questions you need to consider or outline before you can start developing any new device or material. You need to be a little more detailed in what parameters need to be met by the final design.

I tried to keep the question very open so I dont kill any ideas from the scratch. As Kiteman said, it is a video that shows conceptually what Im after.
To your questions:
It has to react on the temperature; 1st skin temperature, 2nd air temperature.
The material or solution shall mainly open up the holes but of course if there is a better solution for expanding the beads then so it is...
The material shall be fairly thin so it can be flexible enough to bend around body's curves.
I mentioned that Im not particularly looking for an electronics solution since there is not much space to embed the electronics as well as the power.
Im considering many questions however here Im looking for any tips and hints for solutions so I can see and try out several ones that will fit into my project brief.
I hope that's a bit clearer. D
