I recall seeing large amounts of epoxy used in this picture
https://www.instructables.com/image/FAF4S63E41EP280OTN
in this instructable
https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-1000-watt-wind-turbine/
in Step 1.

But of course the author doesn't mention where he got it from

Authors do that all the time because they assume that every material they use is something so ubiquitous that it is available to anyone, anywhere on Earth.  Moreover the jargon or brand name by which the authors know/buy this material is the only name by which it is known.   What do you mean you've never seen product X ?  You know, you just go to the store and buy it.  Duh.

If it's Carbon Fiber you wanting to lay up I would make the pattern out of wood. Seal the surface well and use a mold release agent.

You need to approach a bulk supplier.

Unless there is some other underlying reason I would go for Fiber glass rather than carbon - It's easier to use and no vacuum bagging needed.

Your question is a bit vague - Google your local supplier of Bulk epoxy.

No idea where you are or what you actual need is. Epoxy is expensive,

Mold making is generally done with a flexible or semi flexible material such as silicone.

hey rick thanks for the reply appreciate it big time although I'm looking to get some kind of resilient hold as I'm having a go at making wings for my civic in carbon fibre but the kits you can buy only have enough epoxy gel to make an A3 size and i need at least enough for 2 A2s if you see what i mean now.
