Increasing current for hho cell? Answered

What is the simplest method for someone like me who has very little experience in electronics and a low budget, to achieve a high current output for a hho cell? This is for a hho cell and torch so the voltage must be low and the current must be high. Basically what Im looking for is a cheap and easy way to create 3v -5v together with 10-100 amps. Are there any specific household appliances that can put out this current? Not car batteries, car battery chargers or wall sockets. Also is this enough to kill you or just give you a bad shock?

All you have to do is put the electrodes closer to each other and there will be a greater current draw. Alternatively if your electrodes are too close together the cell well draw too many amps. The water and electrolyte act as a resistor.

You want 3v-5v and 10 - 100amps but not from a battery, charger or wall socket ?

Alternators from a car can generate large amps and could be driven from a motor.
I don't think this would be an easy and cheap way though. Also technical.

A MOT (Microwave Oven Transformer) can be set up with the microwaves fan and the power board from microwave. This has a primary side which is 240v or 110v which would electrocute you. However this can be isolated as per any electrical goods. The large capacitor inside oven will hold dangerous charge also and should be discharged safely.

The secondary coil has to be removed and replaced with either magnet wire or another insulated wire capable of carrying the current that will be drawn from it with an overhead for safe operation. Welders power wire is the cheapest solution and rate at 16mm at over 100amps. This has to be wound through enough to produce at least a few volts higher ac than required as the bridge rectifiers will drop voltage across them.

Next bridge rectifiers should turn the low voltage ac to dc current.
These could be very expensive and parallel lower amp bridge rectifiers will not produce what you are looking for. If not balance one will draw more or most of the current, they do work and allow a bit more current to pass but not really a satisfactory solution.

There is a solution though, buy 5 x 50 amp bridge rectifiers. These are a good price if you look around. I got 5 for £15 delivered from Ebay (Uk supplier).
Mount these with thermal paste and a bolt to a good sized heat sink. A computer fan is also a good idea.

Supply can be drawn from the heavy gauge welding cable, make sure the connector is capable of handling the current that will be drawn out through the welding cable. The supply cables should be of a gauge suitable to comfortably handle the amps you plan for each individual bridge rectifier to handle. Say 15 - 20 amp and 10 gauge/8 gauge wire.

These then bridges then supply individual cell groups rather than being combined. This complicates hooking up your power to the cell but that's not that expensive, getting single 100amp bridges is expensive.

The other advantage of this is these individual circuits could be switched off for less hydrogen production. More could be added up to the reasonable limit that the transformer can cope with. Also two three or more individual hydrogen cells can be used or just one large one.

With two MOT's in parallel primary and individual distributed secondaries enough power can be cheaply distributed out to power a small soldering torch for jewelery and switched up with a different torch to melt silver/gold/copper.

A 1000w for an efficient cell or more like 1200w-1500w for a less efficient cell will produce enough power to melt precious metals.

To get more current capability out of a 9V battery, you can put more batteries in parallel with it. But to actually get that current to flow, the resistance would have to be low enough. 15 amps is a LOT of current, and you really aren't going to get that to flow through a human by applying only 5V.
