Instructables AddOn Answered

Hi all,

I'm currently thinking about making a Instructables toolbar/addOn for fire fox and was wondering what the community thought.  Some ideas would be great.  Like if you prefer a tool bar or an extra option at the top of the browser(file, edit, ext).

There is an old toolbar here, but FF has moved on since then - I'd say you should remember the Laws, and post.

Ok ty but which law(s) relate to this.  And I emailed service@instructables.com before I started the project and he said go ahead.  I don't want to offend any one.

You won't offend anyone!  The whole point is do-it-yourself and share, eh?

One of the reasons the Staff generally don't adopt user-contributed stuff (like the toolbar, Zach's various scripts, and so on) is that they would then become responsible for maintenance, bug fixes, security, and whatnot.  With less than a dozen people who actually work for Instructables, Inc., you can imagine that they don't have the resources for that sort of thing.

As for the Laws -- follow Kiteman's link.  In this case, it's the Zeroth Law -- if you make something, write an publish an Instructable!

I am going to wright an instructable once it is accepted on mozilla.  I posted on the forum because the instructables guy told me to.  I have never used it before.
