Instructables in the Wall Street Journal today ~
Last year I posted an instructable on making ornaments out of turkey neck bones. One of the comments was less than glowing. This is mentioned today in an article in WSJ. See "When a turkey's gone..." front page. Sharon Hauser (SharonH)

I got the impression you were classified with other turkey bone artisans that have the same point of view, albeit a little macabre for me, with the one interviewed.

I thought he was classified with the people who drive people like SharonH to sometimes hide their art for fear of being thought weird.

True. I guess she can fire off a letter to the editor for her counterpoint. I watched too many horror flicks in my youth to form my impression.

I have my turkey bones ready to cook, then clean and bleach. I'll update my instructable with more beautiful tree ornament photos soon. Why do people find shells and sand dollars pretty, but bones creepy? Seems closed-minded to Mother Nature's beauties~
