Maybe you could use it to melt a book.

If anyone doesn't understand that they should look at your other questions.

The transformer probably came from a tube type TV/Radio or maybe out of an oscilloscope.

Hardly a useless voltage, but not much use for most transistor projects.

Maybe selling it on ebay so you can get something your really need.

It has one use, florescent lights, but I don't wan't to put it back.
