Is there in a way an Inspiron Dell Latop can be reformat w/out it's own drivers any more?
A few years back my sister gifted me with an Inspiron Dell Laptop it was so good but two years ago suddenly it was infected with virus and brought it to some technicians here in Philippines, but they say that we have to order a new memory but to no avail. They tried using some drivers but it doesn't work til i happen to open an account here in Instructable and make this question hoping any one can help me.

. Go to http://www.dell.com/support/index.aspx (you need to have cookies enabled for dell.com) and find/download the drivers for your computer. Sounds like you will need to do that on another computer, due to the virus infection. Burn drivers to a CD. Reformat HDD (should be able to do that by booting from a CD or floppy). Install Windows. Install drivers from CD.

. Sometimes Dell will include in the list drivers you don't need. You may need to go to the Device Manager to find out which audio/graphics/&c chips you have.
