Just for fun, guess who my avatar is! Yup. That's it.

(and no, it's not on the file name of the image)

It's not in the file name, but it "is" in the tool-tip.
Nope. Good guess, though. No, I'm pretty fond of this guy. Moreso than Freud.
Yeah, but it is more mental exercising to try to recognize the face without the title...I thought it was on the inside cover of an old copy of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ( which Gyromild hinted at with the Nemo fish i.e. Capt'n Nemo of the submarine Nautilis).
Ahhh, didn't get his reference!
It was both vague and plain at the same time ;-)
Is that you? =)
Think he's somehow connected to this fish =P
Clever hint, you! :)
That is perfect for this site - well done, that man.
Now, will we have a rash of classic SF authors being used as avatars...?
Hmm, have to find a pic of my fav i Guess ;-)
Hmm, I have seen that pic before somewhere.....inside cover of a book I believe hmmm.
I in fact drew it from that book cover. I can't remember which book it was, though. Might have been the story of his life.
. You're getting warm.
hmm i've also seen a movie based on his story
That is who I thought it was too. :-)
Alexander Graham Bell!!!!!!!!!
It does look like Bell, somewhat, doesn't it....but I was thinking of a writer myself.
I would have guessed Charlie Babbage until I saw the filename ;-)
his face looks like gene hackman
Yeah. Kinda does in that picture.
. Wild guess: Chuck Babbage?
Nope. Another great guess! Here's the picture I painted my avatar after. Might help a bit.
. Spoiler Alert! Don't click on the pic unless you give up - it's in the file name.
. Don't think I ever would have guessed who it was, but I like your choice.
At first sight, I thought it was Victor Hugo. Then I saw the file name and found the correct answer =o)
Very good guess!
And no fair looking up the file name--I think I gave it away!
