Anyone think they could build one? I've been thinking about it.
I think what it does is compare 2 different freuqencies (of the song, I'm just going to totally ignore the camera in the eyes part, just want a dancing yellow robot) and depending on the difference of the frequencies it moves a different amount. It probably only moves to lower frequencies, only to beats of songs and not the singing.
anyone up to it? I might try...

wouldn't you just love to have one right next to your computer, or in your car, or at a party or something?

uhh, lets see: in my car: in case of an accident, it would become a projectile. also, i take the metro and bicycle, i dont drive near my pc: id be compelled to mod it to work of usb if it were near my pc at a party: people already call me geeky enough without weird pc powered robots running around. and i dont hold parties (not that kind anyhow. at a lan party though..........)

well, this thing dances uniquly too different sounds being played around, it has a microphone as a nose. It doesn't make noise and dances to it's own song preprogrammed.

I meant put an eyepatch on it so it looks like the Pastafarian Pirate Skeleton Fish.

oh, and I think it takes 4 servos: 1 for left and right rotation (whole thing) 1 for left and right head rotation 1 for up and down motion 1 for forward and back motion
