LAWNMOWER VIBRATES
The bolts that hold the motor will not tighten. Can I use nuts to hold the motor in place. I saw a video on drilling out the hole and redoing the threads….. Can i use the nuts without causing future problems?

Look for thread inserts or thread replacements.
If the thread in the cast aluminium part of the motor is stripped these little gadgets will fix the issue.
They are like a new thread that you screw in place, once set the screw will fit and hold, often with more strenght than the original.

Should work as long as you are careful to ensure the moving parts (BLADE) don't hit them. Use locking nuts or lock-washers to keep them from coming loose with vibration. If the metal around the hole is worn you can use flat washers to reinforce it.

Also using locking washers could prevent nuts from loosening due to vibrations.
