LED's on helmet
I was thinking on building a helmet like the ones that are on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgfcToAjfdc
I can do the electronics, but I have no idea on where or how to get a helmet similar to the one on the video that has a visor large enough for an LED matrix.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

There are also many similar motorcycle helmets.
All modifications will be purely cosmetic, but I still can't picture how to make LED backlight without interfering with your vision.

That is an old high altitude flight helmet. The ring at the bottom is a locking mechanism to attach it to the suit. These things tend to be several hundred dollars on ebay. You may be able to find a cheap replica or prop for less but it can still cost a bit. Your best option may be going with an old motor cycle helmet.

Yes, I figured a space helmet or a replica would be expensive.
