Laptop Flames Answered

I got me a new laptop, and it looks pretty boring. So I drew flames on either side of the keypad on the empty spaces. However, it doesn't seem to be permanent. When I keep my palm or finger on it for a long time, the color fades away. Any help on how to get it to be permanent?

Graphic vinyl is the way forward, im sure you can get hold of some flame patterns off ebay, or just cut it out yourself, it also would be hard wearing, but nt perminant

I just tried. And.....all hell almost broke lose! It dissolves the color of the markers and spreads it all around! I'll definitely need another method :(
