Limiting Amps on My power supply Answered

I have a PSU that is capable of 45 amps, but I only need 10 amps. How to I limit the amps? I am using the psu to make chlorate.

The PSU has a stand-by feature(purple wire), if i would use that would the amps would be alot lower?

. The amount of current your PS puts out is determined by the load resistance/impedance. If the load only requires 10A, that's all the PS will put out. If the resistance of your solution is too low, you can add power resistors in series. . Kinda like a car engine. It may be capable of putting out 300HP, but it doesn't put out that much unless you stomp on the gas.
