Lost embedded images when editing as non-premium member Answered

So i went to edit an old ible which had a lot of embedded images, just wanted to change one or two lines but because I wasn't a premium member when I edited it, I lost all of the embedded images.

I have now redeemed a premium membership and in the process of fixing the images, just wondering is there a different way to embed images other than how is described here so this wont happen again?
