Make Room! Make Room! Answered

Since it seems to be Earth Day and since I'm depressed about my Vibrations test results i thought I'd inflict my favorite scene from my favorite dystopian movie on all of you.

Enjoy?

Ah what the heck, let's throw in the saddest music ever written.

Specifically, Vibrational analysis of single and multiple degree of freedom systems, including derivation of equations of motion using both Newton's 2nd and Lagrange method, modal analysis, eigenvectors and eigenvalues, Harmonic and impulse forcing function and the modeling of same with Fourier series, along with the Finite element method and of course the responses. Fun stuff. This semester has sucked, and this is the one class I like.

Really, a class to figure out why a Slinky can go down the stairs the way it does. The answer: It just does.

Interesting. The past three days, we've been playing with slinkies in physics.

I think it is lots of equations using most of the Greek alphabet and a good mix of symbols, letters and numbers in all font sizes placed randomly about a fixed line up and down, left and right and all around.

It is truly the saddest music.

P.S. We can't see the top video. It says "embedding disabled by request". I think this is pretty much the same video you intended.

Antithesis of "good vibrations"? Eat, Drink, Be Merry...wait, that's not helping...
