Moving Ears Answered
I was just wondering if anyone could help. I have an idea for something I want to build, however I just need a push in the right direction.
I’m working on a costume with antenna ears. I could just make them static however I want to add a bit of movement.
Basicially I want them to, when I tilt my head down, the ears flatten (think a cats ears when angry) and when I lean my head back, they point up. The rest of the time they stay in the middle.
I want them to be automatic. I really hate triggers or controls, as soon as someone notices how you are operating it, the illusion is ruined. I also don’t want to use electronics (the sound of a motor).
I am absolutely sure I can oull this off, however I’m not sure the best way of doing it. I was thinking fluid filled tubes, as the water exits one it enters the other. Or the mechanism in dolls so they sleep while lying down.
Does anyone have other ideas or pointers?
