Multi-regional DVD player repair? Answered
I have a multi-regional DVD player that no longer plays. I heard a rumbling/grinding sound and it just stopped. It won't open the disk holder or anything. I think a belt might have broken and jammed everything up. I haven't opened it because I'm afraid of messing up the circuit board. How do I ground myself? If it is a belt, were can I buy another and how do I put it on? If not the belt, how do I find out what is wrong? If I could find out a way to do it, how could I move the regional programmer into another DVD player?
