My airsoft gun.
This is my airsoft gun, its a SAS12. it fires at 240fps (1 joule, the max power limit for ireland) and packs a hell of a punch! its very accurate up to about 50-75ft. i painted the top of the barrel, for better looks, and the notches on the ironsights white, for easier aiming. its magazine capacity is 30 rounds. it also featues a safety switch just behind the trigger. it only cost me €50! (€35 for the gun, €10 for the pellets and €5 for the speed loader (holds 100 pellets)) its a brilliant airsoft gun!

Nice gun! I get an airsoft benelli M3 shotgun with my birthday. It uses shells (don't know if you ever saw those) and has about 350-380 fps.
It's an gold arrow M183-A2

Irish, eh? Well top o' the mornin' to ya.
And 240 FPS is your max? Ouch. On what weight of BBs? We measure our FPS usually on .12 gram BBs even though .20 are much better (and more painful) for serious play.
My favorite gun so far is my MP7. I'm really hoping they make a Magpul PDR soon and then I'm so going to buy that.
Reply 9 years ago
lol XD yep, i use .20 gram BBs, smashes the crap outta anything lol, Whats the fps of your mp7??? im going to be buying an m4 carbine soon enough =D

I don't recall. I want to say about 320 using .12s but I'm not entirely certain. I just recall it being better than the typical cheap springer.
Reply 9 years ago
And you use .12g why? On the guns that I have, using a .12 voids the warranty
Reply 9 years ago
1. Because they're cheaper and less painful, usually what my friends have around. I don't prefer them, but I'll use them because I don't fire my airsoft guns all that much.
2. Even if I didn't, guns still advertise here based on their FPS with .12s. I didn't remember the FPS of my gun in .2 so I just gave the one in .12.

Is that WE? I know Tokyo Marui has a gas version. I used to have one of those. I have an extra highcap and midcap I might be able to sell you for cheap (and battery I guess) if you want.
Reply 9 years ago
KWA makes gas, TM makes electric.
Reply 9 years ago
Ah... I knew they had one though. Oh well I don't follow TM too much.
Reply 9 years ago
Why? TM makes some of the best stuff around.
Reply 9 years ago
I dunno, I personally don't like them too much. I haven't had the best experience with them, but some of my friends say they are good. I prefer other companies I guess.
Reply 9 years ago
Yea, some people don't have good experiences with them. Generally, they last a VERY long time stock, have great range, and the new recoil AEGs are awesome. The downside is the ridiculously low FPS, and the high price.
Reply 9 years ago
Mine's a cheap Well version.
Reply 9 years ago
It broke (thought I put that in there and sorry everyone for the double post)

Who make a PDR? MagPul PTS? lol that thing's gonna be expensive. They had a prototype at shot show, it'l be interesting to see how it turns out. Why use .12 gram BBs? .25 is where it's at. .20 is used for field chronos.
Reply 9 years ago
Didn't say I used them, just that they are used for measuring FPS because it makes the number higher. That's marketing for you. And you need pretty high end airsoft to use .25s. A lot of people are against using just .20s here because they make even the weaker guns hurt more.
And I'd be willing to spend quite a bit if I could get my hands on a PDR. Not only is the concept really cool but the actual gun is exactly in my tastes. It'd have a decent cap magazine, the overall gun would be compact, but it would probably still hit decently hard and fast. Overall, I've become a fan of Magpul. I also want a Masada or ACR.
Reply 9 years ago
Oh ok. Well, a china Masada is 300$ and requires upgrades. The MagPul PTS ACR is 480$ and has crappy/proprietary internals.
Also, weight of a BB has little to do with the amount of pain it can dish out. The reason for a heavier BB is a heavier BB has more mass, which means it retains energy for longer, and wind moves it around less.
This makes your AEG/AEP/Springer/Gas gun shoot more accurately to a farther distance.
You don't need a super high end VFC or whatever to use .25 BBs. A 125$ JG would work.

I WANT THAT MASADA SO F-ING BAD lol
On a side note, if my airsoft gun even touched Ireland, I would end up in jail( 420 FPS Boyi SCAR-H)

Good thing I'm in America!
Reply 9 years ago
Yeah me too although technically the county says that since I'm under 18 it's illegal to own one...... That's what the Internet is for!
Reply 9 years ago
thats epic! i prefere the tan tho...
Reply 9 years ago
Yeah it's cool too, but I like black moar! (Also tan isn't always the best in a forest)
Reply 9 years ago
They are both good, i just prefere the tan due to it being the 1st coulor magpul projuced it in... it would also go better in Afghanistan, seen as not many wars are being fought around the world in forests...
Reply 9 years ago
ACRs and SCARs always look better in tan IMHO, It also camouflages them better anywhere than black.
Reply 9 years ago
I second that. My tan SCAR looks smexy. I still want that Masada though I'm a huge Magpul fanboy lol
