Need Help getting picture of of an LG StraitTalk phone that shows battery but won't power on! DESPERATE! Answered

I dropped my phone in a shallow sink of waster for just a split second. It's been in rice overnight, when I put the battery in it the screen lights up showing me the battery is charging but I cant get the stupid thing to power on. My baby girls pictures are on there! Please help. Some are on the SD card but some are in the phone :-( I'll try anything!

Go to dollar store, get little screwdrivers, take off plastic case, make sure no water in it, put screws back in. Maybe the battery is dead. Try to turn it on while plugged in. Lastly, Put it in the oven on the lowest setting to dry it out. Try again. Or if that is scary, you can get better stuuf than rice to absorb moisture. Go to hardware store. Buy 'Damp-Rid'. It's calcium chloride or something like that. you can buy a huge bag of it in the stuff to melt snow section.

Don't panic, take the battery out, and keep drying it. Overnight is probably not long enough.

LOL! I really am in a panic lol. My baby girls pics are on there. BUT I have hope because like I said when I put it on the charger the screen still lights up and shows me charge. I UNFORTUNATELY dropped it in a toilet last year and dried it for 4 days in rice and ta dah it did work. I just can not believe I let it happen again... This has truly been the cheapest phone but THE MOST DURABLE!

Being that you seem to dunk your phone at an irregularly high frequency you might consider spending a little more to get something like the Galaxy S5 next time since it's virtually waterproof (I wash mine off in the sink and have filmed in a lake). Alternatively you can send your phone to a company in California that will apply a microscopic sealant to your phone rendering it essentially waterproof.
