Neon / fluorescent / phosphorescent ingredients for ceramics
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any minerals, or products that will produce a visible fluoro colour in daylight, or phosphorescent in the dark.
I want to be able to either use these as glaze or as stain for clay slip.

dunno if your still looking..but the chems u want are ...europium, yttrium, terbium , cerium,thuluim

they do exist but they contain uranium or other rare earth metals and have specific firing techniques , mason stains have some bright yellows reds and oranges that may be the easiest way to achive them but here are some links to true glow pottery
