Ah. I recently gutted an old HP Pavilion 6330 and painted the case black. I was going to put some Apple stickers on it (hehe) but I couldn't find them...

No, I didn't; how did you make a window? Plexi-glass or similar?
post a pic please
I can't right now; I'm at school, but I can try to get to it later.

Yes, definitely, maybe we can do a collaboration? =]

yes. although i have heard of real glass, plexi (the cheap stuff, NOT lexan) is the best material. im working on my dell now, so i can make an ible out of it. how do you do a collaboration?
Reply 13 years ago
If you're on the page where you edit the Ible, click the "share" tab, and then click "collaborate". That's how you do it on the new editor, at least.
Reply 13 years ago
i meant more like "whats collaborating?"
Reply 13 years ago
Well, for example, if you wanted to do a collaboration with me, you would write the actual Instructable, but both you and I would be able to edit it.

hmm. sound intiresting. unfortunatly, i have 3 projects due friday, so ill have little time to work on my dell this week. i should finish it next week.

The course costs nothing and you can view all the lessons at once or one at a time....

Shameless promotion here. If it runs Windows, I would check out my (XP) Optimization guide. Since it's Vista, it's already super-awesome :P Just uninstall the gunk and you're good to go. Perhaps search DeviantArt for some cool new styles?
Reply 13 years ago
yeh that would be good. i need to change the current style package, it takes up a lot of ram

Do some awesome stuff. Get all the programs you want-- games, GIMP, Firefox, editing programs-- whatever! Get awesome wallpapers. Awesome icons. Anything awesome. Do you have Vista? Or is it a Mac? Or is it the best.... WINDOWS XP?!
Reply 13 years ago
Since when is XP the best? I'd say that Ubuntu, perfectly tuned and working, is the best. With a Linux system, you can get the best Mac OS features and the best Windows features, while taking up fewer system resources and being less vulnerable to viruses and hackers. I'm still running XP, but I have another computer set up with Ubuntu for training myself before I switch over. I shall eventually...

its vista. Im not going to change it to xp, because xp is going bye bye soon. I have the basic programs, no games though.
