"Normal 000" Answered

"Normal 000" is appearing in step text when hovering over picture, sometimes 2 or 3 times. How do I get rid of it? Help, this is my first instructable, and it's been FEATURED with this weird text.

I presume this is your bandana blouse I'ble? Could you say which step, and/or which image, is causing this problem for you? I only see one image for which you added an image note (yellow box), and it behaves quite normally.

Oh, wait. You mean the thumbnails associated with each step up at the top! Yes, now I see what you mean. On your Intro and Step 1 only, the "hover-on" text box has "Normal 0" once or three times, respectively.

I'll take a wild guess and say that you cut-and-pasted the text from MS Word. Unfortunately, that doesn't work very well (not for I'bles, and not really for any other software, either). The best I can suggest is that you rewrite those two steps as follows:

  1. Bring up your Instructable in two separate tabs (or windows) at the same time.
  2. In one of those windows, use the Edit button to modify it.
  3. In the other window, go to the Intro and copy all the text into your paste buffer (Ctrl-C).
  4. Back in the editing window, delete all of the text, and paste the same text from the buffer (Ctrl-X).
  5. Repeat those two steps for your Step 1 text.
  6. Save the version you've just edited, and Reload the version in the other window.
  7. The hover text should no longer have the extra stuff.
You will probably want to copy and save the text somewhere else (use Notepad or something that isn't MS Word) before step 3 above :-)

But isn't there a feature in the new text editor to "Paste from word"?

Yes, which doesn't work right.

You're absolutely right. I always write and edit in Word, then copy in. I appreciate all your help, everyone who answered. It's a good thing for me to learn in the future.

.  If you are talking about this Ible, I don't see a problem.

Thanks for your answer. I don't understand because I can see it clearly see when it on the introduction page. The 1st picture (finished produce) it's 3 times; The 2nd (materials) once; and step 1, once. It's not just me, a friend went to look at it and saw the same thing. I'm very confused. I guess if you don't see it, the post is ok. I appreciate your help. :)
